Training to become a counsellor and working to be kinder to myself every day.
Kinder doesn’t mean softer, sometimes the kindest thing to do is it get up and go for a walk, sometimes it’s to take a nap, sometimes it’s to spend money on yourself and sometimes it’s to spend nothing but time on yourself and meditate or pamper or sing.
Waves of empowered strength are followed by suffocating feelings of inadequacy. And while the former is a more desirable state to exist in; the latter is important for sparking self reflection and acknowledging just how powerful the former is/can be.
I want to share love, share the journey and if one post makes one reader realise one positive thing about themselves; then we’re already ahead. If not, then sending these thoughts out into the universe is a perfectly positive, healing exercise to partake in for myself.
